We are glad you are considering visiting. The following info will give a window into what to expect from our Sunday mornings:
First Time FAQs:
Where is it?
We meet on Sundays at Empower Sioux Falls at 1915 East 8th Street.
When Should I Arrive?
We gather at 10:00 am for worship. Come as early as 9:15 for coffee!
Will I be able to follow what is happening?
Yes. Everything you need to participate will be handed to you when you arrive. Whether you have never been to church before or are very familiar, it will be easy to follow what is happening.
Does it matter what I wear?
It really doesn’t. People mostly dress casually.
What kind of people go here?
All kinds. Our people come from various backgrounds and convictions. Our life is centered in Jesus. This means that we seek to hold deep, faithful convictions and seek to love one another (Rom 14).
Child Care
Children are not just the church of the future; they are the church now. We include them in all we do.
Nursery
Available for 0-3-year-olds during the service.
HopeKids
Meets on the first and third Sundays for children 4 years old – 5th grade.
Catechism
Meets for 6th – 8th grade every third Sunday.
